1880 25C PR67 NGC. Ex: Eliasberg. Lustrous silver centers meld into iridescent blue, amber-gold, and fuchsia at the rims. The field-device contrast nearly merits a Cameo designation, and the piece is extremely eye-appealing. The issue was produced during an era when Morgan silver dollars were being minted by the millions, largely to the neglect of silver quarters and halves. This paucity of business strikes exerts added pressure on the proofs of the 1879-1890 era. This is a boldly struck survivor of the proof mintage of 1,355 pieces, complementing the 13,600 business strikes.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
