<B>1880 $20 AU58 NGC.</B></I> The 1880 Philadelphia double eagle mintage (51,420 business strikes) was greatly reduced from previous years, with most survivors falling in the Extremely Fine to About Uncirculated 50 grade range. The present high-end AU example displays bright peach-gold surfaces that retain ample luster and exhibit well defined design features.
