<B>1879 T$1 PR64 PCGS.</B></I> David Bowers indicates that most specimens of the 1879 proof-only Trade dollar were saved, but with "varying degrees of care." This near-Gem example displays dusky golden-brown, cobalt-blue, and lavender toning, which is somewhat more extensive on the obverse.
