<B>1879-S S$1 MS66 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS.</B></I> As all but the most neophyte Morgan dollar collectors know, the San Francisco Mint Morgans of 1879 through 1882 largely represent the quintessence of the coiner's art for this issue, although scattered later issues are also well produced. The deeply mirrored, looking-glass fields are brilliant, save for a touch of peripheral lilac-rose, and thick mint frost graces the devices. Tiny cheek abrasions limit an MS67 grade, but the eye appeal is extremely high.
