<B>1879 Hawaii TE-7 Kahului & Wailuku R.R. 12.5 C, XF45 NGC.</B></I> Misattributed as TE-4Aa on the NGC insert. The Kingdom's first railroad was built on the island of Maui in 1879. It ran three miles between the Wailuku Sugar Mill and the port of Kahului. Laborers were paid in tokens that were redeemable at T.H. Hobron's general store in Kahului. Medium brown surfaces are devoid of mentionable marks.
