Gentle honey-gold toning confirms the originality of this fully lustrous and beautifully undisturbed Gem. The strike is above average for this rare issue, and is close to complete above Liberty's ear. The eagle's breast has a hint of softness, but this can only be observed once viewed beneath a lens. An interesting mint-made lintmark, in the shape of a lasso, is noted just above Liberty's mouth. Encapsulated in a green label holder. Expect enthusiastic bidding once the present lot takes its turn at the auction podium.
