1879-CC S$1 MS64 PCGS. Perfect Mintmark. The 1879-CC had a low mintage of only 756,000 pieces, and then a couple of hundred thousand coins may have been melted under the Pittman Act of 1918. These two events created a coin that is seldom seen in mint condition outside major auctions. This is an especially attractive example that is brilliant throughout. The fields show a faint glimmer of semi-reflectivity, and the striking details are fully brought up in all areas. A milling mark on the cheek of Liberty and another across the eagle's breast prevent a full Gem classification of this lovely coin.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
