<B>1879-CC S$1 MS62 NGC.</B></I> Partially prooflike fields on this Carson City issue establish good contrast with lightly frosted motifs, irrespective of the angle from which the piece is viewed. Hints of gold-tan color appear around the peripheries and on portions of the central devices. The design elements are well brought up, with at least partial definition in the hair over Liberty's ear and on the eagle's breast.
