<B>1879-CC S$1 Capped Die MS64 NGC.</B></I> VAM-3. A Top 100 Variety. A high quality representative of the noted Capped Die variety, which constitutes a minority of this key Carson City issue. Die rust surrounds the mintmark, which is nonetheless prominent. Faint gold toning visits the lustrous and impressively smooth surfaces.
