<B>1879-CC $1 MS64 Prooflike PCGS.</B></I> Only infrequently do Prooflike 1879-CC dollars enter the marketplace. When encountered, the contrast is minimal and the coin is usually lower grade. This is borne out by the population data from PCGS for MS64 Prooflike coins: 58 in MS64, and only seven finer (10/07). This is a sparkling prooflike example that has reflectivity in the fields that border on Deep Mirror. The devices are noticeably frosted, giving the coin a white and black appearance on each side.
