<B>1879-CC $1 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> Ex: The Shrike Set. This Clear CC near-Gem features booming luster, pleasing surfaces, and an attentive strike. Barely discernible light gold toning graces the reverse, while the obverse is close to brilliant. Although the mintage for the 1879-CC is less impressive than the 1881-CC and 1885-CC, the latter two dates emerged in quantity from the GSA hoard.
