<B>1879-CC $1 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> A semi-key in the Morgan series with only 756,000 pieces struck, this issue has typically been seen as scarce, and the examples contained in the GSA hoards failed to meet numismatic demand (unlike the 1881-CC and 1885-CC). This is a splendid, upper-end MS64 example with frosty devices and a light-pink color. Semi-reflective surfaces showcase the strong luster characteristics that this issue is known for.
