<B>1879 British Columbia, Canada Gold Charms.</B></I> Two different one dollar gold pieces from British Columbia, Canada. The obverse features two miners, and the reverse features the shield of British Columbia. At first glance the two pieces appear identical, but they are completely different. The date 1879 does not appear on the list of dates seen or reported to Burnie at the time he wrote the descriptions in his reference catalog.
