<B>1879 50C PR66 NGC.</B></I> Type One Reverse. Scarce as a proof from the split berry reverse hub. This is an amazing coin that has lovely surfaces overall. The fields are deeply mirrored and each side is covered with teal-colored toning. Rose colored accents are seen vaguely around the margin on the obverse, and this same color is prominently centered on the reverse. In 1879 only 7,000 halves were struck of both business strikes and proofs combined.
