1879 25C PR66 NGC. Type Two Reverse. Because the Philadelphia Mint was obligated to strike silver dollars in great quantity throughout 1879, the production of lesser silver denominations suffered. For the 1879 quarter, only 1,100 proofs and 13,600 business strikes were issued. This older holder example has lovely aquamarine, gold, and salmon-pink toning. It is well struck and splendidly preserved. Census: 18 in 66, 10 finer (2/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
