<B>1879<1C> PR66 Red PCGS.</B></I> This boldly impressed representative has pleasing luster and an exemplary fire-red obverse. The reverse combines lime and peach tints, and exhibits a hint of carbon. Proof 1879 cents were struck in reasonable quantities, but most are toned or spotted. Certified in a green label holder. Population: 25 in 66 Red, 10 finer (9/06).
