<B>1878-S T$1 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> This is an attractive Choice Mint State example of the final common date issue among trade dollars. This was the year that the Philadelphia Mint switched to proof only trade dollars, and the production at Carson City was limited. Only the 1878-S was produced in large numbers. This example has deep gold and steel toning intermingled across both the obverse and reverse. It is fully lustrous and has excellent eye appeal.
