<B>1878-S $1 MS67 NGC.</B></I> A stunning, absolutely Superb example of this popular first-year San Francisco Mint issue. Well struck, including sharp delineation in the hair over Liberty's ear and the eagle's breast feathers. The impeccably preserved surfaces are mostly brilliant except for irregular splotches of gray color on the cheek, and reddish-purple patina on the upper reverse.
