<B>1878-CC $1 MS66 NGC.</B></I> Popular as the first-year CC-mint issue, the 1878-CC has ready availability up through Gem condition, but in MS66 and finer the population drops dramatically. The issue is also generally well produced, and such is the case here, with brilliant silver-white cartwheels and near-pristine surfaces. Light roller marks on the lower chin and above the ear affect neither the grade nor the large appeal.
