<B>1878 7TF $1 Reverse of 1879 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> Leroy Van Allen and A. George Mallis (1991) write that: "This design type uses the seven tail feather C reverse with round eagle's breast and slanted arrow feathers that was used on later years from 1879 to 1904." A hint or two of light gold-tan color visits the obverse of this highly lustrous Gem that reveal just a few minute, grade-consistent marks. All of the design elements are well brought up.
