<B>1878 3CN PR67 Cameo NGC.</B></I> Three cent nickels from 1878 are available in proof format only, from an original mintage of just 2,350 pieces. Needless to say, few specimens have survived at this lofty preservation level and with the Cameo designation. This example is sharply struck, untoned, and immaculately preserved, with some wispy die polish lines noted in the obverse and reverse fields.
