<B>1877<T$1> PR64 Ultra Cameo NGC.</B></I> Breen-5808. Minor repunching on the upper right foot of the 1 and the base of the 8 in the date are diagnostic of this variety. Except for the somewhat controversial 1884 and 1885 issues, the 1877 has the lowest mintage (510 pieces) of any proof delivery in the entire Trade dollar series. This visually enticing specimen leaves no doubt about its noteworthy Cameo status, and indeed it is ensconced in an NGC PR64 Ultra Cameo holder. Untoned surfaces on both sides reveal only a few wispy hairlines and a couple of minor contact marks, and the contrast between fields and devices is especially pronounced. Census: 7 in 64 Ultra Cameo, 2 finer (9/06).
