<B>1877-S T$1 MS65 NGC.</B></I> Well struck and highly lustrous, with a beautiful satiny sheen across both sides. The fields and centers are essentially untoned, while gorgeous golden-brown, lilac, and sky-blue coloration decorates the border areas. A minimal number of wispy surface marks help to ensure the Gem grade assessment of this highly attractive Trade dollar. The 1877-S issue had the largest mintage of the entire series with more than 9.5 million pieces produced, but Gems are exceedingly scarce due to the low survival rate of these heavily exported coins.
