<B>1877-S $20 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> Because of the bountiful mintage of 1.735 million pieces, this issue is available in all grades, up through a few MS64 pieces. The present example appears quite pleasing and high-end for the Select grade, with brilliant cartwheel luster, pretty apricot-gold color and minimally abraded surfaces. The strike is well executed, save for a bit of weakness on the highpoint hair below Liberty's coronet, but the superb, coruscating luster is this coin's most notable hallmark.
