<B>1877-CC<$20> AU58 NGC.</B></I> This issue is somewhat scarce at any grade level, with an original mintage of just 42,565 pieces. Problem-free AU examples are somewhat expensive, with true Mint State coins simply out of the range of the average collector's budget. This example has decidedly prooflike fields and pleasingly rich coloration. A few minor blemishes are noted, along with wispy hairlines and a few scattered bits of discoloration on the reverse.
