<B>1877 3CN PR66 Cameo PCGS.</B></I> This proof-only issue, with a mintage, according to the 2007 <I>Guide Book,</B></I> of 510+ pieces, is the key to the nickel three cent series. This bright Premium Gem specimen is essentially untoned and exquisitely struck; all of the lines on the III are fully defined. The frosty motifs are nicely highlighted against the mirrored fields, and a few tiny, light toning spots are noted on the obverse.
