<B>1877 1C PR65 Red and Brown NGC.</B></I> While not scarcer than other proofs from the 1870s, the 1877 is immensely more desirable because of the scarcity of circulation strikes of this date. Still only 900 pieces were struck, a paltry number for the large collecting fraternity interested in Indian cents.
