1877<1C> PR61 Red and Brown ANACS. This attractive specimen definitely appears to be undergraded by ANACS and, indeed, it is difficult to speculate on how the PR61 grade was arrived at. The striking details are unimpeachable, and the coin exhibits substantial reflectivity on both sides. The slightly variegated toning includes hues of pink-red, and mottled traces of green, gold, and purple-red. A few contact marks are noted on the obverse, but these are extremely trivial.
