1877 $10 AU53 NGC. The 1877 issue, with its astoundingly low mintage of just 797 business strikes, was the last in a string of P-mint eagle issues with nominal production runs. Philadelphia recorded a six-figure output for the denomination in 1861, but would not do so again until 1879. The orange-tinged yellow-gold surfaces of this highly elusive Liberty eagle have a flashy appearance consistent with the issue's small mintage. Well-defined overall with only minor wear on the lightly abraded highpoints. Census: 3 in 53, 13 finer (6/07).

Coin Engraver: Christian Gobrecht

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information\)
