<B>1876/5<$1> Indian Octagonal 1 Dollar, BG-1129, R.4 MS65 Deep Prooflike NGC.</B></I> This variety shares the same obverse die as the BG-1128, but the maker has re-engraved the denticles to make them long and sharp. A lovely lemon-gold Gem of this popular and scarce overdate, well struck and with no mentionable distractions save for a bit of strike weakness on the central reverse. This piece is the finest known and only certified Deep Prooflike example at NGC (9/06).
