<B>1875<T$1> PR65 Cameo NGC.</B></I> Type Two Reverse. Delicate but consistent light gold toning graces this lovely Cameo Gem proof Trade dollar. The strike is razor-sharp, even on such often mushy areas as Liberty's hair and the eagle's claws. A few nearly imperceptible parallel hairlines are detected beneath the branch stem, and faint mint-made planchet streaks are found above the eagle's beak and through the final letters in AMERICA, but these are of little significance. Only 700 proofs were struck, and the scarcity of Uncirculated business strikes for this date contributes to the demand for high quality proofs. Census: 16 in 65 Cameo, 4 finer (9/06).
