1875-S/CC T$1 MS64 PCGS. FS-501, formerly FS-012.5. Type One Reverse. This is a famous overmintmark variety, created when dies prepared for Carson City were sent on to San Francisco. Most of the issue entered circulation or were exported, and now Mint State examples are highly elusive. This variety was first discovered in the mid-1960s, and has been listed in the Guide Book for many years. This piece is sharply struck with exceptional design details, including full head details on the obverse and full claw details on the reverse. The surfaces are mostly brilliant with subtle champagne toning and satiny luster. Population: 4 in 64, 1 finer (12/06).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
