<B>1875-S $5 VF35 PCGS.</B></I> The 1875-S half eagle, with a mintage of 9,000 pieces, is a scarce issue, resulting from heavy circulation in the West. Only about 130 coins have been certified by PCGS and NGC combined, mostly in the grades of Fine and Very Fine. This high-end VF specimen exhibits reddish-gold patination and strong VF detail.
