<B>1875-S<20C> MS65 NGC.</B></I> Breen-3875, Doubled "$" Mintmark; MPD-001, Blundered Date. Both dies are blundered. The top of a 5 is observed in the denticles below the 7 in the date. The mintmark is sharply recut, and exhibits two pairs of serifs. An intermediate die state of the variety with peripheral reverse die cracks joining many of the letters in the legend and denomination. This satiny Gem has brilliant silver luster with a trace of champagne toning.
