<B>1875-S 20C MS62 PCGS.</B></I> The twenty cent piece was introduced in 1875 as an ill-conceived gesture to the Western silver-mining interests, which had grown more powerful in the years since the "Crime of '73." The S-mint coinage of this premiere year outnumbers the CC-mint coinage by nearly an order of magnitude, and was more than 30 times the P-mint emission. The present specimen offers brilliant, untoned surfaces.
