<B>1875-S $20 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> The majority of 1875-S double eagle survivors are in grades Very fine to About Uncirculated. Mint State pieces are available, but usually in MS60 or MS61. The population drops off significantly in MS62, and anything finer is rare. Prooflike fields on the MS62 specimen in this lot offers pleasing contrast with the motifs when the coin is tilted under a light source. Good definition prevails on the design features, and while the expected number of handling marks are visible, they are not overwhelming, and none are worthy of individual mention.
