<B>1875-CC $10 --Improperly Cleaned--NCS. XF Details.</B></I> With the exception of the 1874-CC, all Carson City eagles from the 1870s are very rare. The 1875-CC has a mintage of just 7,715 pieces, and most examples circulated for years in the West and were eventually melted. NGC and PCGS combined have certified only five coins as AU58 or above. The present example displays obverse hairlines, but luster is unmistakable within protected areas.
