<B>1874-S $5 AU58 NGC.</B></I> An elusive coin in high circulated grades, and virtually impossible to find in any About Uncirculated grades. None have been graded in Mint State of this date. Despite a mintage of 16,000 pieces, virtually the entire issue was lost or melted over time. The surfaces show traces of luster in the protected areas and moderate handling marks from brief circulation. Crisply struck except for Liberty's curls and the mintmark.
