<B>1874-S $5 AU55 NGC.</B></I> Luminous honey-gold luster emerges throughout the borders, particularly on the reverse. Nicely brought up, with minor softness noted on the hair above the coronet. A challenging issue at the AU55 level, since only 16,000 pieces were struck, and all went into circulation. Neither service has certified any above the AU58 level.
