<B>1874-S $5 --Cleaned--ANACS. AU50 Details.</B></I> The 1874-S half eagle is a formidable rarity, and a low mintage issue of just 16,000 pieces. Not many of those coins have survived, in any condition, and none are known in Mint State. This piece shows smooth, even wear across the highpoints, and a mere smattering of small marks on each side.
