Manuscript notation to reverse in Smith's hand reads, “Taken Sept. 25. '74.” A rare portrait of the 36 year old church leader captured while he was living in England 7 serving as the President of the British & European Missions. Measures approx. 2.25” x 3.75”; mounted to overall 2.5” x 4”. Vandyke & Brown of Liverpool backmark. Excellent.
