<B>1874-CC T$1 MS62 NGC.</B></I> Silver-steel fields contrast nicely with the ample quantities of mint frost found on the devices of this second-year Carson City issue. Several areas of striking weakness are noted, most prominently Liberty's hair, the eagle's right claw, the right C in the mintmark, and DOL, and the pattern suggests that the dies may have been slightly misaligned when this coin was struck. Still, any Uncirculated 1874-CC Trade dollar is a desirable coin, and this is no exception, showing no wear, a high degree of luster, and surfaces that, although abraded appropriately for the grade, remain attractive.
