1874-CC T$1 MS62 ANACS. Most of the 1,3
1874-CC<T$1> MS62 ANACS. Most of the 1,373,200 mintage went to China, where it was extensively chopmarked. David Bowers (1993) writes: "The 1874-CC is the most plentiful Carson City Mint chopmarked trade dollar, and fourth most common of all chopmarked trade dollars." The silver-gray surfaces of this specimen emit soft luster, and are visited by occasional whispers of olive-green toning, especially on the reverse. The design elements exhibit a better-than-average strike for the issue. A few small contact marks are seen on Liberty's cheek and scattered over the fields of both sides, and an unobtrusive pinscratch is visible from the back of Liberty's head to the rim. Some fine die cracks are noted on each side.
