<B>1874-CC 50C Arrows AU55 PCGS.</B></I> WB-101. A small tine extends from atop the eagle's head, and there is a noticeable die line through ES in STATES. The Randy Wiley-Bill Bugert Seated half reference (1993) calls this issue, with a mintage of 59,000 pieces, "rare in XF and above." This lovely Choice AU example displays golden-gray patina with light orange undertones, and slivers of blue along the rims. Well struck, save for minor softness in some of the star centers and on portions of the reverse motto. Both sides are quite clean for a coin that has seen light circulation.
