<B>1874 $3 MS64 NGC.</B></I> The 1874 is collected along with the premier 1854 and subsequent 1878 issue as type coins, but the mintage of the 1874, at 41,800 business strikes, is by far the lowest of the three, and Gems are seldom seen. This example boasts pretty yellow-orange surfaces with bold luster, no visible impairments, and superlative appeal.
