<B>1874/3 50C Indian Round 50 Cents, BG-1052, High R.4, MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The fields are watery and deeply prooflike, and the green-gold and gold-orange surfaces are undisturbed. Thick die lines (as made) are seen beneath the Indian's chin and obverse star 3. The 4 in the date is repunched over a prominent 3. The dies are rotated approximately 150 degrees clockwise. Karl Stecher, Sr. purchased this piece from the Guttag Bros. of New York during the 1930s. A Guttag Bros. envelope marked "1874 Half Dollar Gold Round Unc" is included.
