<B>1873-S 50C Arrows MS62 PCGS.</B></I> The 1873-S half dollar with Arrows is a scarce date, especially in high grades, and according to Randy Wiley and Bill Bugert (1993) is "Extremely rare in mint state." PCGS and NGC have, to date, certified about 70 examples ranging in grade from Very Good to Mint State. Soft bluish-gray and rose patina cover the lustrous surfaces of this MS62 specimen, and an attentive strike brings up sharp detail on the design features. Some faint slide marks are visible on the obverse portrait.
