<B>1873 G$1 Open 3 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> A thick die line (as struck) on Liberty's neck is diagnostic of this issue. Some interesting, mint-made horizontal lines occur on the lower reverse, and cross the lower wreath and the numbers 187 in the date. Bright and satiny, with only trivial marks that limit the grade. Karl Stecher, Sr. purchased this piece from the Guttag Bros. of New York during the 1930s.
