1873-CC<50C> No Arrows XF40 ANACS. Many of the 122,500 No Arrows Half Dollars produced by the Carson City Mint in 1873 are believed to have been melted to provide bullion for the first Arrows coinage. This fortunate survivor retains fairly strong detail, and displays light golden-gray patina imbued with magenta and cobalt-blue accents. The relatively clean surfaces show just a few minute obverse marks, none of which are worthy of individual mention.
From The Empire State Collection, Part Two.
