<B>1873 3CS PR66 <img border='0' src='http://www.heritagecoins.com/images/star.gif' width=10 height=10> NGC.</B></I> All examples of the silver three cent coin dated 1873 were struck in proof, and always with a Close or Closed 3 date style. This glittering little Gem has exquisite album or cabinet toning with concentric rings of heather, pale yellow, sea-green, sky-blue, and gold on the obverse. The reverse has blue, rose, amber, and turquoise color. NGC has assigned the coveted <img border='0' src='http://www.heritagecoins.com/images/star.gif' width=10 height=10> designation for eye appeal.
